Ayurveda Meets Asana
Accelerating the Path to Longevity
How to achieve true wellness is the question of our current era.
Yoga and Ayurveda have the answers.
Proper alignment in our poses (Hatha Yoga) is critical for a safe and effective practice.
Proper alignment with Nature’s Rhythms (Ayurveda) is critical for our overall well-being and ability to grow old gracefully. When the two are in synch, you become an unstoppable force of nature.
In these two sessions, Ayurveda philosophy will be skillfully woven into a sequence of
flow, breath, mantra and meditation.
Welcome to your best self.
In Ayurveda, the evening is Kapha time when the heavier elements of Water and Earth are most prevalent.
Expect a quieter practice of deep hip openers, forward folds, and twists. We seal in our contemplative practice with pranayama, mantra, and meditation.
Saturday 25 May

After a short lecture on how to cleanse all FIVE of our bodies, we’ll dive into a fun, flowing, backbend practice suitable for all levels. The class will conclude with a deeply nourishing Yoga Nidra to soothe and regenerate your spirit.
