Flow Academy Presents:
Jack Harrison - for a yoga asana class inspired by a poem from John O’Donohue where he begins:
I place on the altar of morning
The quiet loyalty of my breath...
The class will explore the relationship between breath and movement and our coming to the true purpose of our lives. It will include breath-work, physical postures, poetry and music and will be open to all levels of practice.
Jack Harrison is a Certified Anusara Yoga teacher, folklorist and musician. He has worked and studied in all three of these areas for the last 30 years and integrates these paths together in his Celtic School of Yoga & Music Workshops, which include music, breath-work, poetry, myth and yoga. He is a principal author of a seminal book on the parallels between yoga and the Celtic world and he has also recorded three acclaimed albums of yoga music. His teaching is very much based on the changing rhythms of these latitudes and the vital importance of breath in Asana.
