Kundalini yoga is often referred to as the ‘yoga of awareness’ – it works quickly to give you grace, balance and most of all the ability to remain calm, centred and clear through life’s challenges.
Kundalini yoga's power comes from the “coiled serpent” which is located around the sacrum or “sacred bone” at the base of the spine. This 'coiled serpent' is a metaphor for the enormous reserve of untapped potential within each of us. In this workshop you will use proven kundalini techniques to gradually awaken this benign serpent and safely deploy its amazing beneficial powers, tapping into this potential to achieve health, happiness and harmony in your life. Through various practices including physical postures, meditation and chanting you will enjoy an elevation in consciousness, promotion of physical well-being and an expansion of awareness. This workshop is open to all levels including beginners.
Joe has been practising yoga in Greater Belfast for 20 years and has a keen interest in wellbeing and spirituality. He is committed to helping people become their best selves. Joe qualified as a hatha yoga teacher in 2005 and as a kundalini yoga teacher in 2009 and has been teaching in Belfast and North Down since 2010.
